Harry Jay Katz,
The Philadelphia Film & Video Commission was started by Philadelphia's Mayor W. Wilson Goode and run by Harry Jay Katz in 1986 as a means of enticing producers and directors to use Philadelphia as a venue for their new projects. As a result, Mr. Katz received an official proclamation and Liberty Bell from the Mayor and City Council. Katz also opened the Philadelphia Bureau of The Hollywood Reporter.

Few movies, outside of Mannequin, Rocky and an occasional De Palma, got done here. Local celebs and their controversies were limited to Fast Eddie and Harry Jay Katz.
I learned to dig and appreciate people for the good they had done: Harry Jay Katz.
